My mom called a few months ago and said she was planning a visit out to see us and she waned King J and I to take a few days and go on a mini vacation. That she wanted alone time with the girls. At first we told her we would love for her to visit and to spend the time with us, but King J needed to work. But as the weeks went on we decided it would be a fantastic time to get away. So we booked a cute little cabin in the Smokey Mtns right on the outskirts of Gatlinburg Tn. The place we spent our honeymoon 11 years ago.
The drive was absolutely breath taking. It was 4 hours of complete awe at Heavenly Fathers handy work. We had to stop a few times at viewing areas just to take it all in.
When we got there we settled in to the cute little cabin and spent the next 2 days just being together and revisiting some of the places we went 11 years ago. Main street shops, Hard Rock Café, Rippleys Believe it or Not Museum and riding the Trolley and spending time in the hot tub. :)
I sure love this Guy. We sure make a cute couple!
So thankful to Grandma who let us get away without worrying about the kids.
